Kim Schau who so kindly made and donated, customized Quilts for Japan labels for all our quilters. Thank you Kim!

Many thanks to Angelo Cultrera for loading all of the "Quilts for Japan" donations and transporting them to Tundra Process Solutions.

Clearwater's Wednesday Quilt Group, Clearwater, BC:

While Dorothy of the Cultloose Quilters in Houston BC sat at
her sewing machine creating quilts for the people of Japan ,her
grandchildren became inquisitive.
After hearing about what had happened  in Japan they wanted to do
something to help too. Since they didn't know how to make a quilt,
It was suggested that if they were to do extra chores they could make
some money to send along with Grandma's quilts to the people in Japan.
The children earned $31.00 which has just been sent in a money
order to Global Samaritan Resources where it will most likely
purchase some stuffed toys for children who have lost all of their belongings.

The money order purchased with the money Page, Yvette, Trinity and Morgan
made doing extra chores around the house to help the people of Japan

Our group's labels made, donated and produced by Kim
Schau. Thanks for all of the hours you dedicated Kim so quilters would have a label to sew on their quilt donations.

Dolly Harasym of Prince Rupert BC who received this quilt on behalf
of "Quilts for Japan" shared this story, "This quilt was made by
Eunice Seidemann who lives on a remote island here in north-west B.C.
Her sewing machine is powered by solar panels and wind energy.  Her
and husband made the 2 hour boat trip to town just to drop the quilt
off at my house.":

The donations from British Columbia delivered by Coralee Roy of Houston, BC.  Coralee offered to pick up quilters donations in her surrounding area in an effort to see how many quilts she could pack into her Rav 4.
